What’s included in the price?

The fee covers accommodation, all meals, academic activities, excursions, evening events, and 24/7 supervision.

Not included: airfare, UK ETA fee (Electronic Travel Authorisation), travel insurance, and personal pocket money.

Who will supervise my child?

Students are accompanied by an ESU Romania group leader (or several, depending on group size).

Can I book as a group?

Yes! We welcome school groups accompanied by their own teacher/group leader. Please contact us directly at [email protected] for group rates and details.

What is the age range for this camp?

This programme is designed exclusively for students aged 16-19. For youger students (11-14), ESU Romania offers alternative summer programmes in Bishop’s Stortford and Brighton.

Do students need to be fluent in English?

You don’t need to be proficient (C2) but we do recommend an upper-intermediate level (B2) so as to maximise your time in the programme.

Where will my child stay?

Students live in YHA Cambridge Hostel, which provides modern accommodation close to Anglia Ruskin University (5 minutes walk) and only 15 minutes from the city centre.

How do airport transfers work?

  • One return group transfer is included in the fee (from either London Stansted or Heathrow Airport).
  • If a student is not traveling with the group and requires a separate transfer, this can be arranged at an extra cost.
